This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Vyaamikk Diary mobile application and this website. Vyaamikk Diary is designed and developed under the SPECIAL SOFTWARES brand and legally operated by Ananya Engineered Industrial Components & Pay Systems LLP (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”). We are preparing the product with Indian privacy obligations in mind; this policy is not a claim of regulatory certification.
01
Scope
This policy covers the Vyaamikk Diary application intended for mobile devices and the marketing/legal website at https://vyaamikk.specialsoftwares.com. It does not cover third-party services that you may separately link to from your records (for example, a customer’s bank or a courier company).
02
Who we are
Vyaamikk Diary is a business record-keeping and document-generation app for Indian MSMEs, shop owners and professionals. It is operated by Ananya Engineered Industrial Components & Pay Systems LLP. The product is not affiliated with GSTN, any government department, any bank, NBFC, accounting body or legal regulator.
04
How we use information
- To let you access your workspace and your records.
- To generate documents from the information you enter.
- To send reminders and follow-ups you configure.
- To protect the account against fraud and misuse.
- To improve reliability and diagnose faults through limited diagnostic information.
- To respond to your support and privacy requests.
05
Device permissions
The app requests device permissions only when a feature you initiate needs them. Typical examples include camera or photo access for attaching an image to a record, foreground location when you use a specific location-tagged workflow, notifications for reminders you configure, and storage access to save a generated PDF. You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; certain features will be unavailable if the corresponding permission is denied.
06
Service providers we rely on
We use a limited set of infrastructure providers to operate the product. Based on the current technical build, these include Google Firebase and related Google Cloud services for authentication, cloud database (Firestore), file storage (Firebase Storage) and serverless functions used for account lifecycle operations; Expo Application Services (EAS) for mobile app build, over-the-air update delivery and diagnostic reporting associated with the mobile app; and the standard Apple App Store and Google Play platform services for app distribution and platform-level push notifications. These providers act as processors on our instructions and process information only as necessary to deliver the product to you. Some of them may process information on systems located outside India (see “International processing” below). Communications with these providers use standard transport security. This marketing website itself does not load third-party analytics, advertising, session-replay or marketing pixels. Its hosting, content-delivery, security and request-log processing are handled by our website hosting provider on our behalf.
07
User-created content and third parties
Records you create may contain third-party personal or commercial information (for example, a customer’s name and phone number). You are responsible for having the authority to enter, store, share and generate documents from that information. Vyaamikk Diary does not verify, certify or attest to the legal validity or accuracy of any record.
08
Local and cloud processing
Vyaamikk Diary is designed with an offline-first orientation for selected record-creation and viewing workflows. Sign-in, verification, cloud sync, remote backup and certain services require an internet connection. When cloud sync is available, we use standard transport-layer security in transit and access controls at rest; we do not describe our infrastructure with absolute security guarantees.
09
International processing
Some of our infrastructure providers may process information on systems located outside India. Where that is the case, we rely on the standard contractual protections offered by those providers. We do not make a data-residency promise on this page; specific residency arrangements depend on the underlying provider configuration and may change over time.
10
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the product (for example, cloud infrastructure and authentication providers), under contractual obligations. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
11
Retention
We retain your account and records for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we start the 15-day pending-deletion process described in the
account deletion page. Certain operational, provider-managed or legally retained information may remain where required for legal, security, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention purposes.
12
Cookies and website storage
Storage used by this marketing website (for example, remembering your cookie choices) is described in the
Cookie Policy. The mobile app itself does not use browser cookies.
13
Your choices and rights
You can review and update information in the app, revoke device permissions from your device settings, export or delete records where the feature is available, and request account deletion at any time. Subject to applicable law you may also ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or restrict certain processing. To exercise data-principal rights, contact us at
support.vyd@specialsoftwares.com.
14
Security
We follow reasonable technical and organisational practices to protect information. This includes user-scoped access, transport encryption for network calls and controlled authentication. No system or transmission is perfectly secure and we do not guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device, app and sign-in credentials protected.
15
Children
Vyaamikk Diary is intended for business users aged 18 or over. The app does not currently verify age. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone we know to be a child. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us so we can act on the request.
16
Grievance and complaint contact
For privacy questions, grievances or complaints, contact our privacy and grievance channel at
support.vyd@specialsoftwares.com. We aim to acknowledge grievance emails promptly.
17
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
