Delete your Vyaamikk Diary account
You can request deletion of your Vyaamikk Diary account and associated business data at any time. This page describes both the in-app path and the web request path for users who no longer have the app installed. Vyaamikk Diary is operated by Ananya Engineered Industrial Components & Pay Systems LLP under the SPECIAL SOFTWARES development brand.

Option 1. Delete from inside the app
Inside the Vyaamikk Diary mobile app, go to Settings → Delete Account & Data. You can also reach the same screen through Settings → About → Delete account. These labels match the current app build being submitted to App Store and Google Play.

Option 2. Request by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us at support.vyd@specialsoftwares.com. Include:
- The mobile number linked to the account.
- The business or profile name shown in the app, if you remember it.
- A short confirmation that you are the account holder.

Pending-deletion window
After a verified request, your account enters a pending-deletion state. During this window, the account is disabled and its records are not accessible in the app, but the underlying data has not yet been purged from all backend systems. This window exists to allow recovery from mistaken requests and to complete lawful checks. The current window is being finalised and will be published here before launch.

What is deleted
After the pending-deletion window closes, we remove your account identity, business profile, records, generated documents, letterhead and logo assets from our active production systems.

What we may retain
We may retain a limited amount of information where required for legal compliance, security, anti-abuse, dispute resolution or fraud prevention. This can include an anonymised deletion tombstone confirming the account was deleted, audit and access logs for a limited period, and copies inside encrypted backups that are overwritten on their own lifecycle. Complete removal from every backup snapshot is not instantaneous.

Timeline and confirmation
We start deletion promptly after verifying your request. Because deletion involves backend lifecycle processing and encrypted backups, complete removal from every system is not instantaneous. We will confirm when the request has been actioned in production systems.

Cancelling or reversing a deletion
You can cancel a pending deletion during the pending-deletion window by signing in to the app again and completing a fresh mobile-number verification. Simply replying to an email is not enough to reactivate the account. Once the pending window closes and deletion completes, the workspace and its records cannot be restored.

Security note
We never ask for your OTP, password or full identity-document numbers over email. If a message that appears to be from us asks for these, treat it as suspicious and email us directly at support.vyd@specialsoftwares.com.
